Manzanita Oceanfront Inn
Manzanita, Oregon
A beloved family-run retreat, this oceanfront property is poised for transformation. Spanning three buildings and a pool in the heart of Manzanita, the site has long welcomed guests to the Oregon coast. Through a comprehensive renovation slated for completion in May 2026, we’re reimagining every guest room and common space while honoring what has always drawn people to this special place. A complete rebrand celebrates the whimsy, warmth, and magic that define the Oregon coast experience. The result will be a refreshed destination that feels both familiar and entirely new – a place where memories are made against the backdrop of endless ocean views

Marriott AC Retreat at Evergreen
McMinnville, Oregon
Opening May 2027, the Marriott AC Retreat will bring a modern sanctuary with vineyard views to Oregon’s wine country. Designed by SERA Architects and built by R&H Construction, it blends contemporary style with the region’s warm spirit. Guests will enjoy a European-inspired lobby bar, outdoor pool, wellness spaces, and yoga platform overlooking the vines. With veranda suites, a fifth-floor lounge and wine room, and its prime location on McMinnville’s Evergreen campus, the Retreat will offer a year-round destination for weddings, events, and elevated escapes.
Previous Development Projects
While important pieces in Escape Lodging’s history, with our refined attention on properties that provide lodging and related supporting amenities in the focused region of Western Oregon and Southwest Washington, the following development projects are now owned or managed by other entities.

Lodges at Cannon Beach
Cannon Beach, Oregon 2008
Providing a graceful transition from the transient lodging model, The Lodges opened in 2008 with eight fully equipped townhomes available for fractional and whole ownership with both residential and rental opportunities. Featuring a timeless natural design with warm, subtle lighting and a neutral color palette that pays tribute to the northwest environment, their presence melds into the neighborhood with the use of native plant species and respectful, artistic architectural lines. The fully sold property now operates under the control of its board of owners, and remains a beloved and popular destination for owners and renters alike.

Cousins’ Restaurant
Pasco, Washington 2006
Fine tuning and adapting all we learned from our iconic Cousins’ Restaurant in The Dalles, Oregon, Cousins’ Pasco opened in 2006 with the same sense of humor, warmth, and consistently comforting homestyle menu which are signatures for our Cousins’ brand. Its architecture is a statement of the rugged and handsome Northwest, with rough hewn wooden beams and copper hooded fireplaces, striking and sensitive to the sensibilities, culture, and tastes of the region.

The Lodge at Columbia Point
Richland, Washington 2017
This stunning 80-room Lodge debuted in 2017 as the premier hotel in Tri-Cities, Washington and remains in a league of its own as the area’s only 4-Star property. Sitting on 2.5 acres along the Columbia River, The Lodge was designed to maximize the serene water views and pay homage to the area’s celebrated wine industry with each room named for a local winery. The additional amenities within, Columbia Point Spa and Drumheller’s Food & Drink, cemented The Lodge at Columbia Point as a destination for leisure and business travelers alike for decades to come.
