As brand and project manager, Misty’s responsibilities cover a very wide range. With 16 unique properties and counting, her days are devoted to guiding managers through property projects, annual marketing and social media plans, and overseeing customer relations – all while remaining true to the vision of ownership, congruent with each property character and our company ethos and aesthetic. Her years of marketing and hospitality experience may have prepared her for her position, but her presence has proven irreplaceable to our operations. Her friendship, compassion, work ethic and patience inspire all who know her.

Misty and her partner Marla enjoy their time with Misty’s two children, Katy and Carson, and remain at the beck and call of one very amusing dog, Piper.

Shaun brought with him decades of hospitality experience from right here at home, the North Oregon Coast. As President, Shaun works directly with property managers and department leadership, ensuring day-to-day operations reflect the best of us and promptly redirecting when challenges arise. Shaun provides our properties and leaders with direction, resources and support in achieving their goals and expectations, overseeing hospitality operations, sales revenue management, facilities and building systems and employee relations for each Escape Lodging property. His tireless effort, enthusiasm, relatability, sense of humor and intellect are hallmarks we value and appreciate.

During Shaun’s moments away from work, he enjoys Steelhead season and he and his wife, Maggie, enjoy their time with their two children, Maria and Andrew, and do their best to entertain their very energetic dog, Ruby.
